Y Combinator’s 4 partners, Trevor Blackwell, Paul Graham, Jessica Livingston, and Robert Morris, are all very familiar with the startup scene. Trevor, Paul, and Robert successfully built and sold their company, ViaWeb, to Yahoo! in 1999. Over the years, they have gathered in depth knowledge on how to run companies, what makes one successful, user interface design principles, important product features, and much more. Paul Graham has published many of his renowned essays to his website, www.paulgraham.com.
